25 local schools took part in Elmer’s Big Parade Plymouth educational programme sponsored by Thomas Cook Children’s Charity. St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth provided them with ideas on now to support bereaved children and with lesson plans to help talk to students about death and dying in an age appropriate way. Participating schools also got to paint their own Young Elmers which you can find on display in Mount Edgcumbe, Barrow Centre until 16th September.
